Originally released in 1993, Day of the Tentacle is one of the countless highlights of LucasArts' golden age. Not as widely pirated as Indy Jones, maybe, but still firmly engraved in our teenage memories.
Four months ago its remastered version has been released for various crippled platforms. As I recall, there wasn't a Linux build announced, luckily in the end Double Fine didn't left us behind.
As of now, Linux version is available only on Steam. 15 eu it costs. If you don't mind waiting some more, DRM-free GoG upload should follow soon.
I'll wait, why hurry. It's summer anyway, isn't it.
New section has been added to the site - from now on, anyone can browse our database of Linux game developers. Currently the list is going back to January 2015, it doesn't contain such as Valve or idSoft yet.
This might change over time.
Fun fact: Since January 2015, the database has registered 697 games and 613 developers.
In two years, only 84 studios (or individuals) have managed to release two (or more) games on Steam.
Linux Release List has been updated for Jun 2016. Second time in a row Linux gaming is saved by Paradox, this time presenting us with Hearts of Iron IV. If you are not part of Paradox' niche community, you might have found Transmissions: Element 120 intriguing, a free short fan-game based in Half-Life universe.
